The cottages are spread along a treed bay and point shoreline.

There are picnic tables and outside fire pits at each cottage.
The cottages are large with an open concept and rustic atmosphere
yet have all the modern conveniences.

We are working towards being barrier free.
In 2008 we renovated cottage 6 (above) with a barrier free washroom
and bedroom as well as a new ramp at the front door.

For your convenience we have a small grocery store on site
carrying the basic groceries such as canned goods, milk, bread,
ice, fishing licenses, gas, ice-cream, etc.

  • Big Gull (Clarendon) Lake - shoreline is approx. 75% undeveloped
  • Surface area 5,840 acres (2,365 ha.)
  • 55 miles (88 km.) of shoreline

  • Maximum depth 95 feet (29 m.)
  • West end has a fair bit of weed growth with an average depth of 12 ft. and maximum depth of 35 ft.
  • East end has mostly rocky bottom with sandy and weedy bays. Average depth 60 ft.

We are near the end of a 3 km. (1.5 mi.) private cottage road. Off the beaten track we are surrounded by acres of unspoiled forest to explore. This soft wilderness area is known as the Canadian Shield.
